"Astrea & Amaro <3"
I had the brilliant idea to try to clear out my storage by "finishing" some of my old WIPs. This one was based on an old drawing I did ten years ago, before I had a good understanding of my art software or a handle on anatomy and poses. It helps motivate me when I can see my progress so clearly, even if it took me ten years to get here.

Another old WIP from my files, I put a little spit polish on the very first picture I ever drew of this character. I gave her a new dress, added some jewelry, and basically had a grand old time drawing her all dolled up.
"The Nobles of Darkness"
This was another WIP - but I ultimately failed at expressing the original concept. This began as a "layered" piece, with characters set behind each other to create a "group photo" sort of feel, but my former and current skills make that setup very difficult to execute. Besides, I like to be able to reference my art in the future, which often involves being able to see all aspects of a character's outfit so I don't have to make as many decisions when I want to draw them again. That was the other reason I wanted to do full-body portraits instead of headshots upon headshots.
